Michael here. Typically, Courtney writes these things but since this blog is about one of my very best friends we decided I should write this one.  Well, Jordan is my best friend since kindergarten, so it made sense that I should write this one.  From elementary to high school to college, we never lost touch and would always make time to hang out and catch up.  Jordan was in my wedding and I will be in his.  🙂 So it is safe to say that I knew when Jordan introduced me to Sophie, they were perfect for each other.

Courtney and I both didn’t know a lot about Sophie until this past Summer. All four of us went to Yellowstone over July 4th.  It was an amazing trip.  We actually camped out of our cars, which was more fun than I ever could have imagined.  Jordan actually converted a cargo van into a camper van, which you will see in this engagement shoot.  If you would have told us that having a cargo van in an engagement shoot would be beautiful we might not have believed you before this shoot!

On the trip We spent every night just talking and getting to know each other more and more.  You know that moment that you realize that you can’t imagine your friend without their person, that moment definitely happened on that trip.  It felt like Sophie had always been there.

What you will find in this engagement shoot is basically a reflection of who they are and what adventures they have already been on and what is to come. (they even included “Our Adventure book” from Pixar’s Up, filled with photos of their life)  The location is actually in Hokes Bluff, Alabama at Jordan’s grandmother’s property.  The pictures turned out amazing and could almost be mistaken for looking like Colorado or Wyoming.  We are so excited for the two of you and know that God has amazing plans and can’t wait to see what your next adventure will be.  Love you guys!
