What a way to start the year off! We had a feeling that this day would be very special and would be one that we won’t be forgetting soon! This day was so well planned out that when I came to Krista to help her with the schedule she already had a plan on how the day would go and it was pretty much perfect! She and Sam put photos as a priority which is why there are so many beautiful groups of photos in multiple locations through out the day. The trolley is always just the best way to get around downtown 🙂

This wedding had everything a wedding photographer dreams of…. A classic ceremony at a chapel, A bride in fur *swoon*, a very stylish bridal party that are a lot of fun, a trendy reception location with amazing food and of course it all took place in our favorite city: Birmingham!

Now lets talk about the first look, we are still all heart eyes from Sam’s reaction. I always make it a point to ask the groom if he is nervous before he heads out for the first look. Sam claims he was not nervous but very relaxed. His reaction was absolutely precious! Once Sam laid eyes on Krista he scooped her up in his arms and found it hard to hold back tears.

We instantly fell in love with these two at their engagement session because they both seem to not only put each other first but they are crazy about one another. It is contagious!

The ceremony was simple and sweet and we wonder if Sam had a “dip kiss” planned the entire day once he got to the alter with his girl. The Frost really know how to throw a party, we were so excited to see how Iron City was transformed into the perfect reception location. It is a cool place to begin with but It blew us away once we saw the chandelier go up and the linens go down.  It is two floors and a perfect dance floor- not to mention amazing food! If you are reading this looking for a reception location downtown, look no further!

Krista and Sam treated everyone at the reception to several surprises including a free style first dance that was the cutest thing we have ever seen, a photo booth with greenery and a neon sign, and Music City Rhythm Revue (Who killed it, they were so good and kept everyone out on the dance floor until the very moment it was time to go home)

I could keep adding and adding to this blog post but I will say we were honored to be a part of this special and sweet day filled with love and family, we can’t thank Mr. & Mrs. Frost enough for allowing us to capture some of their most treasured memories. We hope they look back on these photos for years and remember the day they agreed on forever- The best is yet to come.
